$-$$$$, Japanese, Huangpu
Fodor's Review:
This impressive three-in-one venue has full Japanese, Cantonese, and Thai menus, though the execution occasionally leaves something to be desired. Although the sushi bar and teppanyaki grill make it easy to zero-in on the Japanese offerings, sampling across the menus is the best approach. Shark-fin dumpling, pomelo salad, and rice with green tea and crabmeat are among the treasures buried in the pages of possibilities. The restaurant is in a sunny glass-roofed garden with retracting overhead shades, which cool you during the day and allow you to stargaze at night.
