Book NowChanghang Merrylin Hotel Review
The Merrylin Corporation is better known throughout China for its restaurants than its hotels, and Changhang Merrylin Hotel's exceptional Chinese restaurant overshadows its fair-size inexpensive rooms. Decor aspires to European grandeur but comes off as amusingly tacky. Reliefs and golden statues of frolicking nymphs dominate the lobby, and rooms are decked out in gold-flecked wallpaper and crackled white-painted fixtures. Service can be brusque, but the location is convenient, as it's within three blocks of the 10-story Next Age Department Store and metro Line 2 to Puxi.
