Hours of Operation

Banks are open weekdays from 9 to 4:30 and Saturday from 9 to 12:30. Office hours are more or less the same as in the west: 9 to 5 or 6. Some offices are open from 9 to noon on Saturday. Lunch hour is 1 PM to 2 PM; don't be surprised if offices close during lunch. Museums and sights are usually open six days a week from 9 to 5. Each site picks a different day, usually a Monday or Tuesday, to close. Pharmacies are generally open from about 10 AM until about 9 PM. For a 24-hour pharmacy you need to go to the Queen Mary or Adventist hospitals.
