Hong Kong Maritime Museum

Hong Kong Maritime Museum Review

Previously located in Stanley, the museum, which explores Hong Kong's rich 2,000 year maritime history, re-opened at the end of February 2013 at the old Hung Hom Star Ferry Pier. One of its gems is an ink painting scroll called Pacifying the South China Sea, which chronicles nine-day Battle of Lantau. The scroll has been digitized and transformed into a 360 degree animation experience.
