TBLS Review

Chef-owner Que Vinh Dang plates up refined comfort food at this eatery tucked away under the Mid-Levels escalators (you'll need a pass code to get into the building; it's given when you make your reservation). There's no à la carte menu, only a six-course set dinner that's updated on a monthly basis, and the menu theme can be inspired by anything, from Vietnamese cuisine to Fourth of July barbeque, so it's a good idea to check what they're serving before you reserve. Dishes are always changing, but there are a few staples, including some form of soup-and-sandwich combo and Dang's delicious ice cream macaron cookies.
