Having found success in the UK with establishments such as Wagamama and Hakkasan, restaurateur Alan Yau has returned to his home city with this retro-inspired restaurant concept headed by Australian chef Shane Osborn. The menu combines Osborn's classical culinary training with seasonal Asian ingredients such as daikon, yuzu, and locally caught fish. Meats are done especially well here, and diners tend to wax lyrical about the Sagabuta pork with Japanese sweet corn, as

well as the fabulously tender honey-and-soy-glazed short rib of beef.
