Dong Lai Shun
Dong Lai Shun Review
This Northern Chinese restaurant is known for its mutton hot pot, but it's the oxtail in black vinegar sauce that will really win you over. The generous pot arrives with tender meat and bits of cartilage immersed in a sweet and tangy sauce that's close to addictive. Be sure to finish the carrots and potatoes sitting at the bottom of the pot. Dong Lai Shun also offers a host of other great dishes, including traditional Peking duck and tea-leaf-smoked eggs boasting creamy, yolky centers.
