Tim's Kitchen
Tim's Kitchen Review
Some of the homespun dishes at this restaurant require at least a day's advanced ordering but the extra fuss is worth it. One signature dish pairs a meaty crab claw with winter melon—a clean and simple combo that allows the freshness of the ingredients to shine. The fist-size "glassy" king prawn looks unassuming, paired with nothing but a slice of Yunnan ham on a plain, ungarnished plate. Take a bite though, and you'll be amazed at how succulent and delectably creamy it is. Word of warning—some of the more intricate dishes can get pretty pricy. But simpler (and cheaper) options are also available, such as pomelo skin sprinkled with shrimp roe, and stir-fried flat rice noodles with beef.
