Kid-friendly services extend to family-sized rooms that sleep up to five and even suites filled with stuffed animals and electronic games, while adults enjoy a choice of 11 pillows and many other personal touches. Racing fans can ask for a room with a view of Happy Valley Racecourse, though some rooms overlook a graveyard. An excellent shuttle service runs to and from a range of locations—especially helpful, since the hotel is surrounded by traffic-clogged streets and taxis are hard to flag.
