This funky izakaya has been serving good (though pricey) Japanese food since it opened in 2007, following the huge success of its London restaurant. Zuma makes abundant use of wood and stone in design, which gives the space a hip but relaxed feel. Chefs concoct primarily Japanese food with a creative twist in an open kitchen. The sushi and sashimi are fresh and beautifully presented on a slab of ice with chrysanthemum-flower petals sprinkled on top. The dessert platter, which includes a chocolate cake that has a melted chocolate center and exotic Asian fruits, is equally stunning. An outdoor balcony allows diners to take in the surrounding Central night view.
