If you can find the semi-hidden door to this restaurant speakeasy, one of Hong Kong's famed private kitchens, the rewards are great indeed. The experience begins with a multicourse meal (usually consisting of 13 or14 dishes) that takes you on a spicy tour of the Sichuan province and ends with live Chinese opera, courtesy of the chef. The menu varies day to day—whatever the chef feels like preparing—so leave your food phobias and quirks at the door, especially if those phobias include a burning mouth: this is some of the spiciest food in town.
