This lifestyle pioneer plays with ideas, designs, and words with wonderfully imaginative yet functional results. The name is a phonetic play on the Cantonese phrase, "to live better." Its huge product range consists mostly of home furnishings and tableware, though there are some fashion items. Affordable creations, such as red rubber trays for making "double happiness" character ice cubes, Buddha statues irreverently painted in DayGlo tones, and old-fashioned Chinese textiles reimagined in modern settings, are both nostalgic and contemporary.
