Panes of glass glowing in shades of red escort you into a world full of columns of golden light draped from the ceiling, round black banquettes, and swiveling red sofas -- the interior of Wasabi Sabi transports you far away from the shopping mall outside. The Japanese creations served here seem also to come from another realm: from the carpaccio of sea bream with wasabi red tea jelly, to a memorable sea urchin custard, they are delightfully original, reaching far beyond sushi and sashimi.
