$$-$$$$, Thai, Wan Chai
Fodor's Review:
For years, JJ's was one of the hottest tickets in town for live music and revelry, with a particular following among expats. Then, after Hong Kong's economic downturn, it closed, but has since reopened and is as good as ever. A visit here is first and foremost about the atmosphere and the music; with nooks, crannies, dark wood, and twisting staircases, the place feels akin to a dim Parisian artists' haunt, but with live bands. There's a Thai menu that's more creative than the norm, and a large cocktail list, including a truly luxurious concoction of caviar over frozen vodka.
