For a long time, the Jumbo Floating Restaurant and Dragon Court were the only places to eat at Aberdeen's famed Jumbo Kingdom. But times change, and now there's Top Deck, a classier, less kitschy, if equally pricey alfresco option on the roof deck of the big boat, beneath a three-story pagoda. It has a vastly better view (and breeze) than the indoor restaurants beneath. If the weather permits, you should sit outdoors rather than at one of the few indoor tables. The menu is somewhat haphazard (Thai, Japanese, Indian, Italian, steak…) but generally good. The raw bar is the best option, if you like seafood. There's a jazz band playing on Wednesday, and a Sunday brunch every week.

Best enjoyed with a gang of friends over a long lunch on the weekend because there's loads of room for kids to let off steam without annoying anyone. The ambience is kind of Sydney-style....al fresco and very laid back.

Only good point is the outdoor seatings. Else nothing is god, especially the Sunday Brunch. Charge out the nose w really low quality food.
