$$-$$$, Italian, Central
Fodor's Review:
In the shadow of the world's sixth-tallest building, flowing Isola is everything that the new Hong Kong is all about, especially the outdoor seats, which are set amid an urban jungle of concrete, manicured glass, and potted trees, in front of the open harbor. But Isola's regional Italian cuisine is also shockingly authentic, with selections like chestnut-and-mushroom ravioli with pumpkin, thyme, and sage sauce; simple and well-executed stone-baked pizzas; or roasted langoustines wrapped in lardo di collonnata, a delicious type of pork fat. Even so, Isola is as much of a nighttime bar scene as anything else, and it's worth coming just to sample cocktails and take in the soaring room.
