Edward Youde Aviary

Fodor's Review:

Fluttering feathers, caws, chirps, and warbles fill your ears as you enter this aviary that's home to more than 600 birds from 150 species. You crisscross a rain-forest environment on timber walkways elevated to canopy level (50 feet). Vibrant flashes of color swoop down or settle in nearby branches. Greedy-mouthed pelicans preen as they bathe in the first-floor stream. The aviary was named for a bird-loving colonial governor and is in the southwest of Hong Kong Park, which you reach by walking up through Pacific Place shopping mall from the Admiralty MTR.
