Sha Ha

Fodor's Review:

The sand isn't fine and golden, but the main reason people visit this beach is for the windsurfing. Sha Ha's waters are shallow, even far from shore, and ideal for beginning windsurfers. Feeling exhausted after a day out on the water tackling the wind? Grab something to eat at the restaurants and bars that dot the beach. You can take lessons or rent a board at the Kent Windsurfing Centre (Sha Ha, Sai Kung. 9733-1228). Ask for Eddy. From Central take MTR to Choi Hung, then green Minibus 1A to Sai Kung Town. It's a 10-min walk along shore to Sha Ha.
