Built by the Boy Scouts Association, this hotel next to Kowloon Park offers an excellent value for the money. A portrait of association founder Baron Robert Baden-Powell, hangs in the spacious modern lobby. The hostel-like rooms are small and spartan but have regular hotel amenities and panoramic views of Victoria Harbour and clear views of the busiest part of Kowloon. Ask to see your room before settling in, as some rooms are better than others. A multipurpose hall hosts exhibitions, conventions, and concerts, and the health club is one of the biggest in town. Another attraction for budget travelers is the self-service coin laundry. There are Internet terminals available for use.

budget priced hotel, exceptionally clean for the price. not much room for 2, but we managed, with one chair. closet can hang 6 garments, really that's it. no dresser drawers - there were 2 drawers under the safe, which held socks and tee shirts. for a long stay its tricky to stash away your things. the bathroom is very clean, felt like a cruise ship due to its efficient use of small space. shower only with glass doors. if it weren't for the lack of closet/drawers we'd stay there again. May anyway if we can figure out a way around this. the location is great once you find canton rd!
