Emperor Happy Valley Hotel

Fodor's Review:

Catering mainly to business and corporate travelers, this hotel is one of the few places to stay in the predominantly residential Happy Valley area. The Emperor is also the best deal in town for horse-racing fans, as it's a few minutes' walk from the Happy Valley Racetrack. It's also 5 to 10 minutes by taxi from the Causeway Bay shopping area. The public rooms have regal-looking, European furnishings, but the corridors are narrow and rooms are quite small. Look for Internet special "promotional rates" at less than half the rack rate, even during high season.
