Grand Hyatt

Fodor's Review:

A ceiling painted by Italian artist Paola Dindo tops the Hyatt's art deco-style lobby, and black-and-white photographs of classic Chinese scenes hang on the walls. The elegant guest rooms have sweeping harbor views, many with interesting zigzag window frames; amenities include large interactive TVs with cordless keyboards. The One Harbour Road Cantonese restaurant is notable—as is JJ's nightclub and Thai restaurant—and the ground-floor breakfast buffet is a decadent feast. The Plateau spa has a Zen-like calm and there are extensive outdoor facilities. The hotel is especially convenient if you're spending time at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, which is connected to the building.
