$$-$$$$, Eclectic, Central
Fodor's Review:
One of the oldest restaurants in Hong Kong, Jimmy's opened in 1928 and has been catering to a loyal clientele of mostly Old China Hands ever since. The setting is shamelessly colonial, with dark-wood booths and brass fittings. The menu features comfort food as charmingly old-fashioned as the place itself: everything from corned beef and cabbage to a traditional mixed grill. Other specialties include borscht, goulash, and bangers and mash, plus Asian selections ranging from curry to fried rice. Homey desserts include bread-and-butter pudding.
