Tai Mo Shan
Tai Mo Shan Review
The name means Big Hat Mountain, and it is Hong Kong's highest point at 3,140 feet. Made of volcanic rock, it's located north of Tsuen Wan in Tai Mo Shan Country Park, which was established in 1979. The "Foggy Mountain" is covered in clouds almost daily. When the mist—and pollution—clears, the view stretches all the way to Hong Kong Island. Take bus 51 from Tsuen Wan and get off at the intersection of Route Twisk and Tai Mo Shan Road.
