Jamia Mosque

Fodor's Review:

The Midlevels Escalator goes right by the gray-and-white Jamia Mosque on Shelley Street. The original 1840s structure was rebuilt in 1915, and shows its Indian heritage in the perforated arches and decorative facade work. The mosque isn't open to non-Muslims, but it occupies a small verdant enclosure that's a welcome retreat.
