Tandoor Review
A hidden gem of an Indian restaurant, Tandoor's location slightly away from the main nightlife areas means it risks being overlooked by all but Indian regulars in the know. Look no further for excellent food from a classic, wide-ranging menu and gentle, efficient service. Appetizers and tandoori dishes are particularly good. The large screen showing Bollywood movies and music is the one odd aspect of an otherwise elegant interior, but the effect is not overbearing. There's a lunch buffet on weekdays and a great value dinner buffet Monday through Thursday. Live classical Indian music plays here every night except Sunday.

I ate at Tandoor (Hong Kong) on 22-Jan-2010. After finding a small bug in my food and showing it to the manager (honestly, it was NOT a big deal for me) he proceeded to squash the bug in his fingers, claim that it was a flake of chocolate, and refused to hear otherwise. He handed the plate back to me. Given the dining choices elsewhere, I can't recommend Tandoor because of the poor service.
