The arts-minded mingle in this historic redbrick building that also houses the members-only Foreign Correspondents' Club, next door. The Fringe is the headquarters for Hong Kong's alternative arts scene, and normally stages live music twice a week. The outdoor roof bar, with its potted plants and fairy lights, is laid-back and serves reasonably priced drinks. If the weather is unfriendly, go to the ground-floor gallery bar to rub shoulders with regulars, from students to the city's who's who in arts and film.
