As part of the China Hong Kong City complex, which includes a terminal for ferries to mainland China and Macau, the Royal Pacific sits literally on the western edge of Tsim Sha Tsui. Guest rooms are arranged in two blocks: hotel and tower wings. Tower-wing rooms, renovated in mid-2010, have large harbor views and are luxuriously furnished, while the smaller hotel-wing rooms have Kowloon Park and city views. The small lobby already seems far removed from the Harbour City crowds, as it opens out to restaurants on long and peaceful rooftop decks facing West Kowloon. In the other direction, a footbridge connects the hotel directly to Kowloon Park, which has a giant outdoor swimming-pool complex.
