Jumbo Floating Restaurant

$-$$$$, Seafood, Southside

User Rating: * 1.0

Fodor's Review:

It's worth seeing, if only for the kitsch value: this is the floating restaurant you see on postcards. The Jumbo Kingdom is a huge, pagoda-shape vessel burning with a thousand lights at night. Don't come for the food -- this is a sightseeing outing. There's also a "fine dining restaurant" called Dragon Court in the complex, but it's an even bigger waste of money than Jumbo, whose straightforward seafood menu is overpriced and underwhelming. Unless you must have Chinese seafood, you should dine at the open-air Top Deck instead. Shuttle ferries depart every two or three minutes; bring your camera.

Don't believe the hype

I dined here as part of a large group, the food arrived in dribs and drabs, we were advised that some choices were unavaiable as the food was arriving! The food that did arrive was fotgetable. Needless to say we deducted the service charge.
