By Air in Guangzhou and Shenzhen

Guangzhou's Baiyun Airport in Huada city is expected to establish Guangzhou as a regional air hub connecting the city to 40 international destinations by 2007. The airport currently offers 10 flights per day to both Hong Kong (Y670) and Beijing (Y1,240) between 9 AM and 9 PM. It has direct flights to Paris, Los Angeles, Singapore, Bangkok, Sydney, Jakarta, and Phnom Penh and a number of cities in North America. International airport tax is Y90, domestic departure tax is Y50.

Shenzhen Airport is very busy, with flights to 50 cities. There is commuter service by catamaran ferries and buses between the airport and Hong Kong. Bus service links the Shenzhen Railway Station, via Huaren Dasha, direct to Shenzhen Airport for Y25 (one-way). Zhuhai International Airport, operates only domestically, to 24 cities.
