Fodor's Review:
When it was built in the 1930s, this 16-story hotel was the tallest building in Pearl River Delta. Though it once hosted dignitaries of great importance during China's Republican era, these days this elegant art-deco hotel hosts visitors from around China and international travelers on a budget. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and tastefully furnished with rich mahogany, faux colonial-era furniture. The revolving restaurant on the 16th floor of the new wing offers great views of the surrounding area.
