Tall bamboo groves masks a space-age interior of glass walls, sliding-metal doors, and Plexiglas walkways in this cantina attached to the Guangdong Art Museum. Food is pure world fusion, with dishes like deep-fried salmon and lotus root, Thai chicken salad, and honey apple-foie gras. The softly lit red-neon bar serves mojitos, fruit martinis, and a wide selection of wines. Back Street has an in-house jazz band playing nightly from 10 until midnight, and often hosts international bands.
