There are two Dongjiang Seafood restaurants in Guangzhou. Both are renowned for their culinary excellence and authentic Canton decor, but we recommend the Pearl River location (on Qiao Guang and Yan Jiang roads). It features a seafood market where you can wander around and choose your own meal. The staff will try to steer you toward the most expensive items first, so make sure you check prices beforehand. Some of our favorites include the braised duck stuffed with eight delicacies and glutinous rice, stuffed giant prawns, crab in black-bean sauce, and salt-roast chicken.
