The newest hotel in Guangzhou, and the only four-star hotel in popular tourist area Shangxiajiu, Holiday Inn Shifu is 14 stories, with rooms ranging in price from Y1,080 to Y2,680. There's a lovely rooftop pool and an adjacent bar with views of old Guangzhou. The Shifu is also a stone's throw from the newly renovated Qingping Market, which is a must-see for first-time visitors.
