The Landmark Canton hotel's Chiu Chou City has the reputation as one of Canton's more well-known culinary experiences and is often fairly crowded with locals looking for good regional cuisine. The decor is old-school Chinese-restaurant style, with large round tables and cloth-covered chairs, but if you like, or want to explore, Chiu Chou regional dishes, such as goose cooked in its own blood and dipped in white vinegar and chopped-garlic sauce, or the ever popular yin-yang soup (green vegetable soup and white congee soup served together to form a yin-and-yang symbol), this place might be for you.
