Fodor's Review:
Over the past few years, this Shamian Island hotel has undergone upgrades that have bumped it up from budget class. The two wings, both originally colonial guesthouses, have been beautifully renovated. The main building has a pink-and-white facade, an imposing portico, and twin domes on the roof, where you'll find a pool and an excellent sauna facility. Standard rooms are more than adequate, and the hotel still retains a fairly inexpensive dining room on the 1st floor.
