Fodor's Review:

To get away from the bustle, retreat into Yuexiu Park in the heart of town. The park covers 247 rolling acres and includes landscaped gardens, man-made lakes, recreational areas, and playgrounds. Children and adults get a kick out of the fish-feeding ponds.

Be sure to visit the famous Five Rams Statue (Wuyang Suxiang), which celebrates the legend of the five celestials who came to Guangzhou riding on goats to bring grains to the people. Guangzhou families like to take each other's photo in front of the statue before setting off to enjoy the park.
