Xiamen University (Xiamen Daxue)
Xiamen University (Xiamen Daxue) Review
Housed in a fascinating mix of traditional and colonial buildings close to Nanputuo Temple is Xiamen University. It was founded in the 1920s with the help of Chinese people living abroad. The Museum of Anthropology (Renlei Bowuguan), dedicated to the study of the Neolithic era, is one of the most popular destinations. It has a very good collection of fossils, ceramics, paintings, and ornaments. It's open daily 8:30 to 11 and 3 to 5.
