Dezhe Xiaoguan (Dézhé)

Dezhe Xiaoguan (Dézhé) Review

This simple, rustic, and adorable hutong restaurant is appropriately named Dezhe or "you got it"—a local phrase which means the best of something. Dezhe serves up a memorable poached chicken dish drenched in aromatic young and green Sichuan peppercorns, which permeate the entire dish. Other standard Sichuan fare includes kung pao chicken, classic twice-cooked pork, and mapo bean curd.
