Ming Dynasty City Wall Ruins Park (Míng chéngqiáng yízhǐ gôngyuán)

Ming Dynasty City Wall Ruins Park (Míng chéngqiáng yízhǐ gôngyuán) Review

The new Ming Dynasty City Wall Ruins Park is a renovated section of Beijing's old inner-city wall. The structure was rebuilt using original bricks that had been snatched decades earlier after the city wall had been torn down. This rebuilt section of the wall is a nicely landscaped area with paths full of Chinese walking their dogs, flying kites, practicing martial arts, and playing with their children. At the eastern end of the park is the grand Dongbianmen Watch Tower, home to the popular Red Gate Gallery.
