CITIC Hotel Beijing Airport Review

Formerly known as the Sino-Swiss Hotel, this hotel has lost some of its Swiss efficiency in the handover (the staff here can be a little disinterested) but it thrives on its location, just five minutes from the airport (shuttle buses run to and fro). Rooms are a bit hit and miss—insist on one from the recently renovated top floor. The hotel's Mongolian Gher restaurant is worth a try, with entertainment and barbecue all served up under the canvas of a traditional yurt. There's also a rather lovely outdoor pool surrounded by trees, shrubs, and colorful umbrellas.
