The Crowne Plaza is located on Wangfujing, in the center of Beijing's tourist, shopping, and business districts, and is a great place for walking and window shopping. The hotel underwent a major renovation in 2005, and now has a more modern ambience. The lobby's champagne bar serves light Japanese and Vietnamese food. Huang Yue, a stylish Cantonese restaurant, is on the second floor. The standard rooms are small, but have top-rate amenities, such as flat-screen TVs and comfortable bathrooms. Craving more space? Try the executive floor, where rooms have extra work space and sprawling bathrooms with showers and separate baths. Take a look at the photographs of Beijing covering many of the hotel's warm-hued walls. This is one of the better deals in town, providing a great location and luxury for your dollar.
