The oldest luxury hotel in Beijing, the Great Wall Sheraton is still going strong as a favorite of tour groups. Rooms are comfortable, though no different from rooms in any other Sheraton. The top-floor restaurant has pleasing city views and serves Sichuan and Cantonese food. The hotel also has two restaurants serving French and Italian cuisine. Although the Sheraton is an old standby, the service is uneven and the room rates a bit hard to swallow.
