Fodor's Review:
One of the finest hotels in Beijing, the China World is part of the prestigious China World Trade Center, which is home to offices, luxury apartments, and premium retail outlets. The lobby, conference center, ballroom, and all guest rooms were given a $30-million renovation in 2003. Marble floors and gold accents in the lobby lead to comfortable, contemporary rooms with marble baths. The dining choices are diverse and enticing: Scene a Café is a casual eatery featuring eight different cuisines, Aria serves a wonderful and inexpensive business lunch, Summer Palace serves dim sum, and Nadaman has superb seafood teppanyaki. The subway station is a one-minute walk away. The hotel is quite popular with business travelers, who crowd here during conferences and exhibitions.

Service and comfort - what more could you want?

I have stayed at this hotel three times and have nothing but glowing remarks. The rooms are big and bathrooms are spectacular with separate walk-in showers. Beds are incredibly comfortable and the service levels are exceptional. You can walk to Silk Alley which is helpful when you have a lot of business meetings but need to pick up gifts for everyone back home. Great bar for drinks and entertaining too.
