Fodor's Review:

Serving the cuisine of southwestern China's Yunnan province, this eatery is located in Nanxincang, a restored imperial granary complex. The menu features a wide range of wild mushrooms, Yunnan vegetables, and varieties of chicken soup, such as qiguo ji (soup cooked in a special red-clay pot). Natural bean curd from Shiping is one delicious stir-fry ingredient. Sifang Jie is popular among a younger generation of Beijingers infatuated with China's minority cultures.
