Soft Buddhist chants hum in this clean, cheerful restaurant, which serves no meat dishes. Carnivores may still be happy here, though, as much of the food is prepared to look and taste like meat. Try the crispy Peking "duck," or a "fish" (made of tofu skin) that even has scales carved into it. Zaisu jinshen, another favorite, has a filling that looks and tastes like pork. It is wrapped in tofu skin, deep-fried, and coated with a light sauce.
