Though it's not the swankiest spot in the district, the modern Cajun cuisine is excellent. The blackened king prawns on crispy grits served with roasted tomatoes and spinach puree is one-of-a-kind. Other dishes to sample include barbecued pork shoulder with garlic greens and double-baked beans. You'll find one of Beijing's best wine lists here, being sampled by a crowd that is a mix of wealthy Chinese, expats, and hotel guests drifting down from their rooms.
