Merging Eastern and Western culture and style, the Courtyard is situated at the heart of the nation's capital. Guests have easy access to many of Beijing's historical sites, and it's connected to the huge New World Shopping Center, one of the busiest in the city, selling a wide variety of international and domestic products. One problem is that this is a super-congested part of the city. However, there's a subway station just one block away, making quick escapes to quieter areas quite easy.

Excellent location but hotel itself is very run down and undeserving of the Marriott name. Our room had cracked tiles, peeling paint, poorly repaired shower tiles, and a bed that was harder than the floor.
