However, there's a subway station just one block away, making quick escapes to quieter areas quite easy. Excellent location but hotel itself is very run down and undeserving of the Marriott name. Our room had cracked tiles, peeling paint, poorly repaired shower tiles, and a bed that was harder than the floor.
