Enjoy Mediterranean and Middle Eastern specialties, and maybe a long toke on a water pipe, while looking out over the green fields of Chaoyang Park from the outdoor dining area at this eatery beside the park's west gate. In Arabic souk means market or bazaar—a place where people gather—and the laid-back ambience here, with lights and music both dimmed, champions the concept. The lamb kebabs, humus, pita bread, couscous, and falafel are surprisingly delicious. And if it gets too hot or cold outdoors, retreat inside to one of the comfortable daybeds.
