Kerry Centre Hotel (Beijing Jiali zhongxin fàndiàn) Review

An ongoing renovation has seen this Shangri-La-owned hotel get a new lease of life. It's always been popular (its jazzy Centro bar is inevitably packed with people making deals) thanks to its central location (close to the embassy and business districts), but it was starting to look its age—new additions include a decent restaurant in the form of Kerry's Kitchen and a deli/café, while its already impressive health club will be under renovation until mid-2013. Service remains impeccable throughout, and its rooms retain an air of elegance, but it's little touches like free and fast WiFi in the lobby that make this a thoroughly class act.
