Swallow Rock (Yanzi Ji)

Swallow Rock (Yanzi Ji) Review

North of the city, this small park overlooking the Yangtze is worth the trip. Paths wind up the hill to several lookout points for what may be Nanjing's best view of this great river. The park's name comes from the massive boulder over the water. The rock is well known because the famous Chinese poet Li Bai was once inspired to write a poem here; the poem is now etched into the rock. To get here, take Bus 8 to the last stop.
